We ordered an RC5500i wireless reversing camera system to fit to our Ifor Williams horse box which is towed behind a pick-up. We decided on a 2 camera system with one camera for reversing, the other positioned inside the box to monitor the horses.
Installation and set-up was straight forward and the picture quality on the 5"screen is great, the screen sits comfortably on the dash and will probably also be connected to a DVD player in the future! The cameras are hard wired into the horsebox light circuit and the receiver unit stays hardwired in the pick-up's driver footwell so it's simple to switch between cameras and no messing around with cables is required, we simply hitch up the horsebox and go.
The Infra red illuminators on the cameras are very effective and allow both the horses to be monitored and the trailer to be reversed in the dark without the need for any other source of illumination.
Allfett's service was excellent, prompt delivery and Ben was on hand to answer questions regarding installation.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Allfett for any future vehicle camera requirements.

The reversing camera equipment appears to be reliable and robust enough to withstand the rigours of open pit mining in Africa. Purchasing the equipment was easy enough and the installation instructions were detailed enough to allow easy on site installation. Use of the reversing cameras decreased the amount of dump overspill we were getting and has reduced the amount of tyre damage during reversing. They have also increased the safety aspect during the reversing.

Just one word of warning - when leaving the vehicle unused for a while make sure you switch the reversing camera system off at the control unit or it will drain your battery!
